3M™ DI-NOC™
3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes are designed to update new or existing surfaces with a wide range of wood, stone, metal, solid-color and specialty patterns. 3M lists applications including walls, columns, doors, cabinets and curved interior surfaces.
Koroseal Reatec®
Reatec architectural film offers decorative finish options for resurfacing doors, cabinets, elevator cabs, columns and other interior elements without replacing the underlying construction.
Where architectural film works well
Architectural film is especially useful when the goal is to change the appearance of an existing surface while reducing demolition and disruption. Typical commercial applications include elevator interiors, reception areas, hospitality spaces, healthcare, corporate interiors, education, churches, retail environments, millwork and casework.
Installation matters
Surface preparation, layout, seams, corners, edges and finishing details determine how the completed installation looks and performs. Matrix Design Group provides field installation and project coordination for architectural film scopes ranging from individual feature elements to multi-area commercial projects.
Brands and materials
We work with 3M DI-NOC, Koroseal Reatec and other architectural surface-film systems specified by designers, architects, general contractors and facility teams.
Project planning and substrate review
Before installation begins, we review the surface type, existing finish, edge conditions, corners, penetrations, access and sequencing requirements. Painted drywall, laminate, metal, millwork, elevator panels and other substrates can each require different preparation. Identifying these conditions early helps reduce surprises in the field and supports more accurate estimating.
What to send for pricing
For an architectural film estimate, send elevations, panel dimensions, finish schedules, material selections and clear photos of the existing surfaces. For elevators, doors and millwork, close-up photos of edges, reveals, hardware and transitions are especially useful. We can also review bid documents and takeoff information for larger commercial scopes.
Commercial coordination
Architectural film work often takes place in occupied buildings or on active construction sites. We coordinate installation around access windows, other trades, protection requirements and project sequencing so the finish work can be completed with minimal disruption.

Architectural film FAQs
Can architectural film be installed over existing finishes?
Often, yes. Suitability depends on the substrate, existing coating, surface condition and edge details. We review those conditions before installation and identify preparation that may be needed.
Do you install architectural film on elevators?
Yes. Elevator panels, doors and interior surfaces are common architectural-film applications when the existing substrate is suitable for resurfacing.
What should I send for an architectural film quote?
Send the project location, photos, measurements or elevations, material selection and any finish schedule or bid documents available. For projects outside Texas, include the schedule and location so travel and mobilization can be evaluated with the installation scope.
Do you travel for architectural film installation?
Yes. Matrix Design Group is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and can travel throughout Texas and nationwide for selected commercial architectural-film projects, especially larger scopes, multi-location work and specialized installations.
